Paleo Diet – It’s good to eat meat

Many diet method always concern about avoiding meat to loss your weight. Meat seems to be the enemy for people who are on diet program. Well, for you who’d like to loss your weight but still want to eat meat, you should try Paleo Diet as your diet method.

The paleolithic diet, also known as the paleo diet or caveman diet, is a diet based on the food which humans ancient ancestors might likely have eaten, such as meat, nuts and berries, and excludes food to which they likely wouldn’t have had access, like dairy. No processed foods, no grains and limited dairy, the eating trend aims to get us back to our prehistoric roots.

Planning ahead is the key to success with a diet, and Paleo Diet taken the liberty of helping you with a plan what you’re going to eat on which days. Paleo Diet mapped out an entire 8 weeks of what eating Paleo would look like.

The easy step of what to eat on Paleo Diet as your daily routine :

1. Breakfast

Make an easy omelet. Sauté onion, peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli in olive oil; add omega-3-enriched or free-range eggs and diced turkey or chicken breast.

2. Lunch

At the beginning of the week, make a huge salad with anything you like. A good starting point can be mixed greens, spinach, radishes, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, avocadoes, walnuts, almonds and sliced apples or pears. Store the salad in a large sealable container. Each morning prepare a single serving from the large batch and then mix in meat (ground beef, beef slices, chicken, turkey, ground bison, pork chunks, etc.) or seafood of choice (salmon, shrimp, tuna, or any fresh fish or seafood). Toss with olive oil and lemon juice and you are set.

3. Dinner

Try spaghetti squash as a substitute for any pasta recipe. Top with pesto, marinara and meatballs. Roasted beets and their greens make a great side dish for pork. Asparagus, broccoli, and spinach can be steamed quickly. Salmon, halibut, or other fresh fish filets grill well with accompanying foil packs full of cut veggies with olive oil and garlic.

4. Dessert

Berries and other succulent fruits make a great dessert. Pre-cut carrot and celery sticks, sliced fruit, and pre-portioned raw nut/dried fruit mixes are easy snacks.

With the worldwide spread in popularity of the Paleo Diet and many people swearing by it’s success, the criticism has come up from several scientist and studies.

Studies on the Paleo diet do not show any long-term weight loss after the early losses that are experienced. The longest trial over two years showed no difference in weight loss between the paleo and standard diets.

However, the great thing about the paleo diet is the reduction in the high fat, high sugar foods, avoiding fast and junk foods. If most people take this step alone, they will lose weight – so great on the Paleo diet for getting that step to be taken.
