The picture of the 3 year old lying face down on the sea shore had caused a deep sorrow among people.

The Syrian boy, Aylan Kurdi, was one of 12 refugees who drowned when their boat sunk before reaching the Greek island of Kos. Thousands of refugees have died while trying to reach Europe by sea this year. Aylan Kurdi, the Syrian boy  is one among the 12 people who lost the life, when the boat capsized as they set to reach Kos island in Greece.

Infossible_Aylan-KurdiThe number of refugees that have entered Europe this year from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, have reached record levels, with Germany expecting to take in a staggering 800.000 refugees. This makes the European Countries start to make more tough laws for the migrants. For example the closing of Budapest, Hungary railway station for refugees by the authorities for two days. Dozens of refugees and migrants who were inside were forced out by the police in helmets and wielding batons surrounded Keleti station’s grand.

If Sawiris’s plan can work well, he will be the first Egyptian billionaire buy an island that can save refugees. Just like its name ‘Hope’, the island might be a great solution for refugees who seeking a better life and peaceful place to live with.
