Actually the man-made artificial wave has been found by a Spanish company called Wavegarden in 2013. Surf Snowdonia in Conway Road UK is one of the place that uses this technology. A powerful two-metre wave that rises at the centre of the lagoon, peels perfectly for more than 150 metres, and dissipates softly as it hits the shore. However, compared with Slater artificial wave, the results are simply inevitable. At this moment Slater artificial wave is bigger and better.

Infossible_Artificial-WaveAs published on Huffington Post, some surfers have complained that artificial waves don’t live up to the real thing for two very important reasons: they don’t form barrels and they don’t allow progression, which surfers need to get air.
