For Real: Cat Talking in Human Language
This is a good news for cat lovers all over the world. It has been the dream of cat lovers to understand cat better, including communicating with their cat using human language. Thanks to Temptations Lab for inventing a cat collar that lets cat talking in human language, so people can finally understand what the cat trying to tell.
The Temptations call the device as Catterbox, a cat collar which can identify the words that cat trying to say, and enable the cat talking in human language. Created by London ad agency adam&eveDDB, the Catterbox contains a microphone, speaker, Bluetooth technology and wifi. It captures the cat’s meows and translates them into human words that may or may not actually be what they’re trying to say.
The hilarious ads for the Catterbox show the cat “Meow,” might translate to “This is rather fun.” or “No, No, and No”. Watch below video to see how the device can make cat talking in human language :
The prototype launched in the U.S. and New Zealand on April 28th 2016. Temptations global brand director Pete Simmons said in a statement :
“Through research, we learned that an adult cat’s meow is their way to communicate with humans and, by investing in this prototype device, we can start to improve understanding between them both—giving cats a voice for the very first time. At the Temptations brand, we are passionate about bringing cats and owners together. We have always done this through our treats, but we wanted to go one step further.”
Cat owners can also use the Catterbox app to choose their cat’s unique voice, either Fluffy a British cat, American, man, or woman. It’s definitely paws-itively exciting.
